Lizzo may frequently attract an obscene amount of hate, but it never stops her from showing up online.
On October 5, the Grammy winner shared a pair of mirror selfies on Instagram and X, flaunting her figure while what appeared to be a rainbow filter washed colorful streaks across her face.
Her caption, “tasted the rainbow,” became the perfect setup for fans to unleash their thirst in the comments.
Lizzo Flaunts Her Figure In New Snaps
Lizzo kept things sporty and revealing in a black cropped hoodie paired with micro shorts. Her honey-blonde braids cascaded down her back as she posed in front of the mirror, holding an electric toothbrush in one hand and her iPhone in the other.
In both snaps, her curves did most of the talking as the dip of her waist flowed into her fuller hips, creating the hourglass silhouette fans admired.
Fans Want A ‘Taste’
On both X and Instagram, admirers seemed to have the exact same reaction.
“You are the rainbow,” one fan gushed.
Another replied, “Dam- I wanna taste the rainbow u look sooo teaaa.”
A third wasn’t shy either, commenting, “Oh the things I would do you your beautiful body.”
The X replies, however, carried the usual dose of negativity that seems to follow nearly every Lizzo post.
“Judging by how fat you are… I think you ate it,” a critic sneered, echoing similar insults from trolls.
At this point, though, Lizzo has weathered so much online criticism that these comments hardly seem capable of slowing her down.
She Promotes Yitty With ADÉLA’s ‘Nicole Kidman’
A few hours later, Lizzo was back on Instagram wearing a cream-colored Yitty shapewear romper that sculpted her curvy figure while showing off ample cleavage.
With ADÉLA’s viral track “Nicole Kidman” playing, she slowly swayed her hips and lip-synced the chorus. The on-screen lyrics were cleverly tweaked, replacing “t-ts” with “yitt’s” and swapping “corset” for “Yitty” as a nod to her intimates brand.
Fans flooded the comments with praise before the critics inevitably arrived.
“Sorry but Nicole Kidman was slim,” one person wrote, trying to spoil the mood.
- Lizzo gave followers a glimpse of her weight loss routine.
- Critics feasted on her bikini post for Fat Liberation Month.
- The “Truth Hurts” hitmaker felt overwhelmed when it seemed like the world had turned against her.
- She eventually found herself and continued the slay.
- A legal victory finally gave Lizzo something to celebrate after her latest album flopped.
- She turned heads in a dangerously plunging braless dress with a hip-high slit.
Her ‘Energy Is Everything’
The same pattern played out after Lizzo uploaded a sultry dance video set to Megan Thee Stallion’s verse on Dolly Babe’s “Pink Blush.”
She wore a curve-hugging purple two-piece featuring a zip-front hoodie top and matching leggings that highlighted her curves. A curly honey-blonde wig and sunglasses completed the look as she stood close to the camera, flaunting everything up close.
Once again, compliments poured in by the hundreds. Then came the party pooper, writing, “IDK, Lizzo don’t look right.” Not a single person paid them any mind.
Lizzo Danced To Drake’s Song After ‘Dissing’ Him
A somewhat controversial moment came on September 28 when Lizzo uploaded a clip of herself dancing to Drake’s “Quebec.”
She looked “pretty as h-ll” in a white tank top, black asymmetrical skirt, chunky loafers, and curly honey-blonde hairstyle.
Interestingly, Lizzo’s song of choice raised eyebrows in the comments.
“Didn’t she diss Drake though?” someone asked, prompting replies like “Yes” and “She was team Kendrick.”
The confusion stemmed from an X post Lizzo shared on May 30 that simply read, “Cultural impact > Streams.”
Many people immediately connected it to the lingering Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud. Drake supporters jumped in to defend him, saying that he has both cultural impact and streams.
Lizzo, however, never mentioned Drake by name, making it just as possible that she was simply expressing what she values most as an artist.
