On May 27 in the House of Commons, the Liberals, NDP and the Bloc voted down the Conservative motion to cancel the carbon tax and clean fuel tax on gasoline and diesel until the end of the year. Sure goes to show how much the Liberals think of you and won’t give us a break on high prices, and not one radio station or TV station is letting the people know that the Liberals don’t care about you. Tax, tax, tax. You voted for them.

(Maybe this will be another one of those ideas the Liberals take from the Conservatives when it is convenient for them)

STAGGERING INCOMPETENCE

The Peter Principle posited that every member or employee of a hierarchy tends to rise to his/her level of incompetence (and sometimes, to the maximum level of incompetence), with very few exceptions. There have been some splendid illustrations of this principle in recent years: Justin Trudeau’s ten years in power, the mayoral term of Olivia Chow, the management of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Trudeau reached his highest level of competence as a high school drama teacher. Chow’s would be the equivalent of a Walmart greeter. Maple Leaf management might perhaps run a local hot dog stand reasonably well. The answer to this problem regarding political matters is to vote the progressives out of office as soon as possible, beginning with Chow. Unfortunately, there is no such option available for the Leafs. Montreal will celebrate another Stanley Cup victory long before we do.

(We are surrounded by incompetence why do we tolerate it?)
