THE FIX IS IN
Every criminal who needs to be jailed started as an undisciplined child, allowed to vandalize, bully, spread graffiti, each a step to greater and greater crimes, testing to see how much they can get away with. That’s kids — but the fault, and the responsibility, remains with the incompetent parents and, to a degree, schools. And the police, who treat early crime as mischief and take no action, enabling kids to grow more and more confident that they will always get away with whatever they do. Fix the problem where it starts and we won’t need to build more prisons every year. ‘Fix the leak before it becomes a flood.’

PROPS FOR PIERRE
To all you naysayers about Pierre Poilievre not being our best choice for prime minister, that’s ludicrous. We had Andrew Scheer and Erin O’Toole, not well known and very quiet on the platforms they were running on against a very troubled Justin Trudeau. With Poilievre, we see and hear him in both the House and out in the field. Yet some say he is not right for the job. How would you know? He had better numbers than Scheer and O’Toole. He calls out Mark Carney at every chance. In the last 18 months or so, Carney has made promises that he never followed up on. So, my question is, “Would Pierre Poilievre be a better leader?” I say yes; anybody but Carney would be better.
