Fan pages wasted no time spreading clips from the video across X. The comment sections that followed turned into a whole event, covering everything from her figure to a beef that supposedly ended years ago.

Latto Turns Up In ‘Okayyy’ Music Video

One viral clip features Latto in a glossy gold triangle bikini top with a handful of crisp $100 notes tucked inside. She paired it with matching micro shorts that barely offered any coverage.

Her sleek blonde hair, streaked with a deeper shade, flowed down her back as she dropped into a low squat in side profile, her eyes locked directly into the camera. Then she twerked, slow and deliberate, captivating viewers.

The clip spread fast across X, sparking mixed reactions. On one end, fans were fully supportive, with one writing, “She looks dam- good,” while another simply called her a “proper baddie.”

On the other end, a few critics came for her figure. “She’s fat now,” one person flatly wrote. Another went further: “Nah Latto got big asf she need to lose weight we can see the tummy lipo she got.”

Her fans, however, were not having it. One person reminded everyone that “she just had a baby.” A second user backed it up, explaining, “That’s what childbirth do to women.”

Latto looked exceptional in the video, and some users had a very specific theory about why.

Nicki Minaj’s fans showed up in the comments to take partial credit, pointing back to a 2022 feud in which Minaj and her fanbase, the Barbz, went after Latto’s overall styling, saying she looked older than her age.

Latto’s aesthetic noticeably evolved in the years that followed, and some observers have drawn a direct line between the criticism and the glow-up.

“I’m glad Nicki Minaj made her stop wearing them Tyler Perry movie wigs,” one X user wrote. Another added, “I’m glad she took her advice even tho she wasn’t fw her.” A third urged her to say “thank you, Nicki.”

Latto, however, never acknowledged the old feud as inspiration.

Another viral still grabbing attention online showed Latto wearing a black strappy monokini with barely-there triangle cups, paired with matching leg warmers, and sandal heels.

While critics continued debating her appearance, fans showed up with enough support to drown out the trolling. Where one user saw “fat,” another noted the “baby weight looks good on her.” A fresh-eyed admirer put it differently: “Never knew Latto was this hot.”

Not content with dominating domestically, Latto recently took “Big Mama” on an international promotional run, touching down in London and turning heads with her style.

Candid shots after she left Global Radio showed her in a Helsa Short Bubble Hem Trench layered over sheer tights, accessorized with a gold necklace and Joélle’s Deer Horn leather clutch.
