Kyle Cooke breaks silence on ‘Summer House’ reunion audio leak, reveals who he called a ‘schmuck’

Kyle Cooke made it clear who he called a “schmuck” in the leaked audio clip from the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion.

“This was directed at West [Wilson],” he wrote via Threads on Friday, after fans speculated that he may have been talking to his ex, Amanda Batula (whom Wilson is currently dating).

A “schmuck” is defined as a “stupid, foolish, or contemptable person,” per Webster’s dictionary.

The comment comes shortly after Cooke gave his “two cents” on the bombshell audio leak, which showed his co-star Ciara Miller ripping into Batula and labeling her a “f–king snake.”

“Bravo takes this very seriously. They’re doing a full-blown cyber investigation. So, if you’re the one who leaked [it], you might want to seek cover or council,” Cooke said in a video shared to his Instagram Stories on Friday, responding to “wild” conspiracy theories.

The Loverboy founder, 43, went on to shut down speculation that he or any of his castmates would leak the audio themselves.

He added: “This was not a phone on set. Everybody — if you do have a phone on set, it’s stuck behind a pillow or a couch cushion. So, the cameras can’t see it. I don’t really see why anyone would gain [from] having leaked this. That goes for producers, crew, and Bravo.”

“This was someone clearly acting on their own. It doesn’t even look like they got paid because the audio clip is everywhere.”

Cooke further speculated that the leak might have come from someone who “took their phone and put it up to a speaker, where there was a live feed.”

“There’s only a couple different rooms with monitors. And, of course, then there’s the actual set. It kind of sounds like they were trying to be discreet because you can hear them fumbling their phone in the beginning and the end,” he said.

“The audio itself, from all of the cast, sounds like it’s audio from our mics,” adding that there’s “just no way” that someone on the cast would have been able to record the audio on the set themselves.

The “Summer House” Season 10 reunion — which will discuss Batula and Wilson’s shocking relationship announcement — was filmed on Thursday in New York City.

The reunion is expected to air sometime in May.
