Kraft Dinner Canada and BeaverTails are teaming up to launch a special KD Takeover menu featuring two items that lean toward the savoury more than the sweet.

Entry No. 1 is the BeaverDog, an all-beef hotdog wrapped in BeaverTails pastry and topped with creamy KD and ketchup. The second offering is KD Takover Poutine, a loaded poutine topped with creamy KD, crispy bacon and chives.

These comfort food spinoffs follow Kraft Dinner Canada’s recent collaboration with five Canadian bakeries — SanRemo Bakery in Toronto, Les Délices Lafrenaie in Montreal, Goodies Bakeshop in Winnipeg and Calgary’s Ambrosial Cheesecake Shop and The Cheesecake Cafe — to create KD Mac & Cheesecake. The newly infamous dessert (or is it?) features KD cheese baked into a graham cracker crust and folded into cheesecake batter.
