Katie Holmes sparked relationship rumors after she was spotted in photos holding artist Jason Bard Yarmosky’s hand while out over the weekend.
The pair stepped out on Friday night to attend a screening of Olivia Wilde’s movie “The Invite” hosted by The Cinema Society at the East Hampton Regal UA.
An eyewitness, who was present for Holmes, 47, and Yarmosky’s date told People that the pair appeared very smitten with each other already.
“He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night,” the source added.
“They sat together during the movie, she had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute.”
After the screening, the pair spent the night “chatting with friends” at the afterparty, which was held at The Boat House in East Hampton, N.Y.

A rep for Holmes did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Though fans previously suspected a romance could’ve been brewing with her former “Dawson’s Creek” co-star, Joshua Jackson, after Holmes “liked” a comment suggesting they couple up in January — that doesn’t seem like it’ll be happening anytime soon as the “Cruel Intentions” star appears to be dating model Olivia Burgess.
But the love the two stars have for each was certainly made clear in June, when they couldn’t help but gush over their “precious” relationship while holding hands on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival as they promoted their movie, “Happy Hours.”
“The time that we spent together when we were young is very precious to both of us,” Jackson said in a Cherry the Geek TV interview last month.
“And [it] is like one of the core personal and professional relationships in my life,” he added.
Holmes previously dated Jackson onscreen as their respective “Dawson’s Creek” characters Joey Potter and Pacey Whittier. They also had an offscreen relationship that lasted from 1998 to 1999.
The “Batman Begins” actress famously went on to marry Tom Cruise, with whom she welcomed daughter, Suri Cruise, in April 2006.
After calling it quits with Cruise in 2012, Homes eventually went on to date singer Jamie Foxx for six years. They broke things off in 2019.
Holmes has also been previously romantically linked to Vitolo family scion, Emilio Vitolo Jr. in 2020, and musician Bobby Wooten III in 2022.
