Kathy Griffin has caused quite a stir on social media after posting a short parody of Kim Kardashian's "Santa Baby" Christmas video.

The controversial clip showed the comedian mimicking Kardashian by attempting to crawl on the floor, as the reality TV star did in her video while singing "Santa Baby."

Kathy Griffin has also been entangled in a divorce battle with her estranged husband, Randy Bick, and recently admitted that their split is "kicking my a-s."

Griffin has garnered the ire of fans for posting a parody video of Kim Kardashian's "Santa Baby" video.

The controversial comedian donned skimpy black lingerie and dark heels in the clip shared on her Facebook page. She can be seen cat walking through a well-lit corridor before hitting the ground to begin her mockery of Kardashian.

Griffin then jokingly encouraged herself, saying, "I can do this." When she hit the floor, she agonizingly tried to army crawl like Kardashian, saying, "Santa Baby, put me on..."

Also, in the clip, Griffin admitted "this hurts" and joked that she was "chafing" before the video ended.

For the video's caption, the comedian wrote, "I'm wearing this for my New Year's Eve show. Just deal with it. #64SexyAndSingle."

Fans Slam Kathy Griffin For Her 'Tragic' Video

Griffin's spoof left many fans and Internet users scratching their heads as they took to the comment section of her post to slam her for the controversial clip.

"What a tragic mess! Desperate to get someone to notice her again that she would post something [like] this, plus i just dont get it. Having to listen to her as I'm typing this comment is unbearable," a person wrote.

Another said Griffin is "so not funny, and never was. Who the hell gave her the title of comedian????"

A third Facebook user wrote, "Kinda sad to be that old and still feel the need to beg for attention," while another added that they think Griffin "needs to see a psychiatrist!"

"Hard pass. I'd rather endure double hemorrhoid surgery," another user penned.

Meanwhile, some fans seemed to like Griffin's video and commended her efforts on it.

"I like her storytelling humor. She's got a great figure," a fan said. Another wrote, "For 64, she looks and moves great! You go, girl!"

Griffin's clip comes after Kardashian faced harsh criticism for what fans called her "weird" and "disturbing" take on the Christmas song.

Two days before Christmas, the "KUWTK" alum shared a home video clip on her Instagram account, in which she can be seen crawling on her hands and knees in a blonde bob wig.

Dressed in a blue top and beige leggings that exposed her underwear, she crawled past a donkey next to the Virgin Mary, Jesus raiding the refrigerator, and a woman trimming a Christmas tree on her way to Santa Claus.

When she eventually got to Santa, she ran her fingers up his legs before the camera panned to reveal "Home Alone" star Macaulay Culkin dressed as Father Christmas.

The clip left many fans "confused," with one calling it "disturbing" and "absurd," especially as the reality TV star "claims she is Christian."

"I'm tired of celebrities disrespecting Christianity," one fan wrote, as another added, "This was hard to watch. I'm actually embarrassed for her. We may just have witnessed the fall of an empire."

A third person noted, "I thought you were Christian Kim, and this video is blasphemous. Smh!"

Kathy Griffin's Divorce Battle Is 'Kicking Her A-s'

Griffin recently admitted in an interview with Page Six that her divorce from estranged husband Randy Bick has been challenging for her.

"The divorce is what's kicking my a-s mentally," she shared. "I thought I was going to be with this guy forever. I'm heartbroken, I admit it."

She added, "I just didn't think I'd be alone at this stage of the game, but hey, that's on me. And I guess I obviously have [to take] full responsibility."

Griffin and Bick began dating in 2011 but split up for the first time in 2018. They eventually made up in 2019 and married on New Year's Day the following year.

However, the Emmy winner filed for divorce from Bick in December 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.

Despite her heartbreak, she told the news outlet, "I know it's cliché. I wish him the best. I hope he meets somebody else. He just wasn't the right guy for me. But he'll be good for somebody else."
