Among the most moving scenes was her embrace with Claire Lorente as the patient celebrated completing treatment, a moment that showed the compassion the Princess has shown while drawing from her own experience.

The reflective summer recap follows one of Kate’s most candid conversations about life during chemotherapy.

While visiting The Christie cancer care hospital last month, the Princess explained that treatment affected even simple everyday activities, leaving her unable to enjoy reading or concentrate for long periods.

“I don’t know about you, but I didn’t have the ability to read or really focus on anything,” she told patients in a recent clip shared on X.

Instead, she discovered that coloring became a therapeutic escape.

“[Coloring] was my way of exploring interesting things and being able to do something that did not require an end product, or an end finished piece,” Kate explained. ”[It was] just a way of playing and losing yourself,” the 44-year-old revealed.
