Sky Germany understands that Julien Duranville is set to transfer to Olympique Lyon from Borussia Dortmund.
The Belgian has agreed to the move and is keen on joining Lyon after an agreement in principle was reached between the player and club.
With the Ligue 1 side convinced of his potential, final talks between the clubs are ongoing and the deal is currently progressing positively.
All going well, BVB are expected to recoup the €8.5million fee they initially invested in 2023, but not the full €13m package transfer.
Meanwhile, Dortmund are pushing for either a significant sell-on clause or a buy-back option, although Sky believes a sell-on is more realistic.
In his 27 games across all competitions for BVB since joining from Anderlecht, Duranville produced just one goal and an a solitary assist.
There is a possibility that the 20-year-old is a direct replacement for Lyon's Afonso Moreira who is linked with Bayer Leverkusen.
