It's affecting her to have to sleep in a place where she shared so many memories with Ben Affleck and, despite the renovations and personal touches she added, the house has not sold as quickly as the 'Waiting for Tonight' singer had hoped

"She has been told that only a select group of buyers would be interested and have that amount of money, but it is becoming increasingly frustrating to be there," the source told In Touch, adding that: "The house is like a noose around her neck and she feels trapped, she walks around the house and feels all the bad memories. Not even her weird voodoo magic has helped her. The place still has Ben's fingerprints everywhere."

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck bought the property in May 2023 and a year later the relationship came to an end. By July 2024 it was already for sale. The mansion consists of 38,000 square feet, with 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms.

According to a report from People, Affleck and Lopez did not agree on some details when they acquired the property in 2023.

"The price of the mansion, $68 million, was Ben's suggestion and a big step for her," a witness told People.

According to the same source, Ben Affleck was not very comfortable in the place, because he did not feel identified with the aesthetic style of the mansion, besides being annoyed by the traffic in the area and that it was a long distance to visit his children, who live in Brentwood, where after separating he got an apartment.
