Jennifer Lopez wants to be as helpful as possible to the Los Angeles community as it struggles with the devastating effects of the wildfires and has canceled several media appearances.
This comes after the Los Angeles premiere of the actress's new movie "Unstoppable" was also canceled after fire and wind activity disturbed the city.
Lopez recently finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck but has reportedly remained in contact with him after he was forced to evacuate his Pacific Palisades home due to the massive inferno that engulfed the city.

Jennifer Lopez Frees Her Schedule To Be Present For Los Angeles Community
On Friday, an insider told PEOPLE Magazine that Lopez canceled all her upcoming media appearances.
The 55-year-old was scheduled to appear on several television shows in New York City next week, including "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," the "Today" show, "The View," and "Live with Kelly and Mark."
However, she freed her schedule to be there for the Los Angeles community as it deals with the tragic effects of the wildfires that engulfed the city.
The source shared, "It's important to her to focus on supporting the community of Los Angeles during this very difficult time."

Jennifer Lopez's New Movie Premiere Canceled
News of Lopez's adjusted plans comes three days after the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film, "Unstoppable," was canceled after the wildfires caused havoc in the city.
The movie premiere was scheduled to be held at the DGA Theatre, but it had to be canceled due to safety concerns.
An Amazon MGM Studios representative said in a statement that the cancellation had to happen "in light of today's safety concerns around heightened wind activity and fire outbreaks in Los Angeles."
The statement continued, "As much as we were looking forward to celebrating this wonderful and inspiring film with you, safety is our first priority. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe."

Jennifer Lopez Reportedly In Touch With Ben Affleck Amid Wildfires
In addition to the Los Angeles community, Lopez is also worried about her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, who had to flee from his $20.5 million home in Pacific Palisades after the fires erupted.
Affleck took shelter in his former wife, Jennifer Garner's house, for a while but returned to his home after it suffered no damages from the fire.
A source told Page Six that Lopez became stressed after hearing about Affleck's evacuation. She checked in on him throughout his ordeal and "let him know she's there for him and the kids." Affleck shares three kids, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner.
The insider noted that Lopez "offered support for whatever they need" and was willing to assist however she could.

The source further revealed that the "All I Have" songstress "reached out as soon as she heard about Ben's home possibly being in danger and that he was evacuated."

Lopez And Affleck Finalize Divorce
News of Lopez reaching out to Affleck during his ordeal with the Los Angeles fires shows the former lovebirds are still good friends after settling their divorce.
On January 7, The Blast reported that they reached a settlement mediated by famous divorce attorney Laura Wasser five months after ending their marriage.
The former couple's divorce settlement was amicable despite the absence of a prenuptial agreement.
Lopez and Affleck would walk away with everything they individually earned during their marriage.
Their financial interests were also protected in the agreement, which also saw them terminate their rights to spousal support.
However, Lopez retained ownership of the expensive engagement ring Affleck gave her when he proposed. The diamond-encrusted ring reportedly cost $5.6 million.
Lopez And Affleck Determined To Remain Friends After Divorce
After Lopez and Affleck settled their divorce without engaging in a courtroom battle, an insider told In Touch that the ex-couple never wanted to "get petty" with each other and plan to remain friends.
The source said, "Jennifer and Ben are officially divorced, and the only bright spot is that they never got ugly. Many thought that their lawyers would do the nasty nitpicking on behalf of each of them, but they both decided to leave the marriage as amicably as possible."
They also revealed that despite much being at stake, Lopez and Affleck were determined not to fight over their assets.

The insider explained, "Ben and Jennifer were not about to nickel and dime each other, they respected each other way too much for that. I'm not saying that it never crossed their minds, it just wasn't worth it. They have too much history together. They actually parted as friends."
