One restaurant stands above the rest, according to the 2026 Michelin Guide for Toronto and the surrounding region. Restaurant Pearl Morissette in Jordan Station, Niagara, retained two stars in the new edition, which was announced at a ceremony in Toronto on Sept. 22. This year’s selection includes five new Bib Gourmands (serving good value, high-quality food): Toronto’s Antylia, Golden Horseshoe Barbecue and The Lunch Lady of Saigon, St. Catharines’ Les Incompetents, and Pearl Morissette’s Jordan Station bakery, RPM Bakehouse. Eleven spots were added to the list of recommended restaurants for the first time, such as LORE in Collingwood and Takja in Toronto.

Since opening in 2017, Restaurant Pearl Morissette has received many accolades. Led by co-chefs and co-owners Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson, the dining destination in Niagara’s wine country has taken the top spot on Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list for the past two consecutive years and was named No. 3 among North America’s 50 Best Restaurants this June.

Set on the top floor of a sleek black barn surrounded by vineyards, farmland and vegetable gardens, the restaurant puts local ingredients and a connection to the land at the forefront.

This year’s Michelin Guide for Toronto and its surrounds marks a five-year milestone. After making its Canadian debut in September 2022 with Toronto restaurants, it expanded to encompass the entire region in 2024. Vancouver became Canada’s second Michelin destination in October 2022, followed by the province of Quebec in May 2025.

The full 2026 edition for Toronto and region features 111 restaurants representing 33 cuisines.
