Ice Spice sparked mixed reactions on July 6 after a fan account on X shared a video of the rapper showing off her curves while her song “Name of Love” played in the background.

The clip pulled over 200,000 views, racking up more than 13,000 likes and dozens of comments ranging from pure admiration to harsh criticism.

The clip featured Ice Spice filming herself in a bedroom mirror. Wearing her orange afro, she captivated fans in a low-cut, braless crop top that highlighted her bust, paired with skintight grey shorts.

The clip opened with the rapper squatting in front of the mirror before cutting to a rear-facing angle where she subtly swayed her hips. Looking back over her shoulder, she appeared to exhale vapor before returning to the squat position as she lip-synced to “Name of Love.”

The video alternated between the two poses before ending where it began.

Trolls Continue An Old Rumor

The fan account captioned the post, “Ice Spice was crazy for this.” In the comments section, one critic quipped, “Besides shaking as-, what else is she good at?” Someone else replied, “That’s what we wanna see.”

Another user asked, “Does she have Down syndrome?” The Down Syndrome comparison has circulated online since 2023 through mean-spirited memes. Trolls post side-by-side comparisons of Ice Spice’s face with photos of people who have Down Syndrome, implying she looks like she has it.

In July 2023, Ice Spice directly addressed a troll who posted such a split image, particularly one of her and model Ellie Goldstein. The rapper replied, “U think u ate but my sis cute asf,” turning the attempted jab into a compliment.

Although the comparisons still occasionally resurface online, Ice Spice has largely ignored them since addressing the issue.

Recently, Ice Spice grabbed attention after revealing a new tongue piercing reportedly valued at around $50,000, featuring diamonds and 18K gold.
