Since the first premiere of Sister Wives in 2010, fans have been getting to know all about Kody Brown and his family. But while the TLC personality helped garner quite a lot of popularity and viewership for the show, it seemed certain that Brown failed to earn a proper fanbase through 19 seasons. Over the course of 19 seasons so far, Kody Brown’s antics have sparked outrage among fans and family. Fans Want the Controversial Patriarch of Sister Wives Fired
As Kody Brown’s reputation plummeted, fans began expressing their desire to see him removed from the show. Social media got ablaze with calls for TLC to cut ties with the controversial figure, with many viewers expressing that his presence is damaging the family’s dynamic—and Sister Wives’ integrity.

Thereafter, Brown’s threats, repeated misbehavior and his supposed comments about domestic abuse caused an uproar, with fans asking for TLC to fire the reality TV star.
However, TLC seems to be fine with the Sister Wives patriarch throwing tantrums, and even threatening his family with physical abuse. Perhaps, based on how Kody Brown has been the one to attract and retain audiences with his controversial and dramatic behavior, the network is inclined to keep him, rather than being done with the star.
