The pricey timepieces he posted on Instagram caught the eye of party girls Surpreet Dhillon and Temidayo Awe, who knew a big score when they saw it.

Dhillon and Awe then hooked up with the father of six by offering three-way sex. Murray was stripped, seduced and given the date rape drug GHB to try to knock him out.

The honey trap went off the rails for Surpreet Dhillon and Temidayo Awe. KILLERS: The honey trap went off the rails for Surpreet Dhillon and Temidayo Awe.

It didn’t work and they called their boyfriends, who proceeded to stab Murray to death. He was discovered lying in a bloody pool outside of his apartment door in Luton, England, while Dhillon and Awe were eventually convicted of manslaughter and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Murray had fallen for a classic honey trap scam, one of the oldest tricks in the book for bunco babes, spies and suspicious wives.

Now, police say that two escorts allegedly duped a city man for a cool $20,000.

According to cops, the punter met Katie Doyle, 24, of British Columbia and her alleged travelling partner Alexandra Mellino, 25, of Airedale, Alta., in mid-August on Leolist — a hookup site.

Nearly all of the ads are offering a cornucopia of escorts boasting a wide array of sexual services. Its homepage makes an old Honest Ed’s ad appear to be a model of commercial restraint.

Eventually, the online banter led to an in-person meeting between the victim and the temptresses. He was allegedly given a pill — they didn’t say what it was — and buddy was lights out.

Cops said the seemingly collagen-injected cuties allegedly lifted the victim’s debit and credit cards and proceeded to embark on a $20,000 shopping spree — courtesy of the unconscious victim.

He called Toronto Police on Aug. 16 in the Dundas St. W.-University Ave. area. Doyle was quickly nabbed, while Mellino is now in the wind and wanted.

Both are charged with or wanted for conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, administering a noxious thing with intent, theft, fraud, possession of property obtained by crime, sexual assault, taking an intimate photo without consent and voyeurism.

While detectives told the Toronto Sun the pillow-lipped pair were not known to police, they believe there are other victims. The pair are also allegedly tied to a similar incident in another city with another police service.

“In our investigation it’s just these two involved, but they may be related to a group – our investigation is ongoing to confirm these facts,” police said.

But this kind of alleged scam is spreading. Hamilton Police said they were hunting for three suspects who robbed a victim at gunpoint in a similar incident.

Again, the lure was baited on a “popular” dating app. But when it came time for the hookup, the three suspects allegedly attacked the victim and stole the victim’s phone to make a financial transaction.

Love, wild kinks and easy sex aren’t the only things lingering in the sewers of dating apps.

So is danger. Just ask poor Murray, who fell into a honey trap and didn’t come out alive.
