Hugh Jackman is still basking in the success of Deadpool & Wolverine and he certainly believes reprising his role as Wolverine after seemingly retiring in 2017 is the best decision he’s made in his career.
The movie was a raging box-office success despite its R-rated theme, and after multiple press tours and promotions, the Australian star may need some downtime to chill and play. However, Jackman has been spotted playing a game made for horrible people. Has the actor turned into one?
Hugh Jackman Plays The Horrible Cards Against Humanity Game
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman finally made every Marvel fan’s dream come true after they announced the tandem of Deadpool and Wolverine coming to the big screen. It was a guaranteed success from the beginning, and it proved to be so after the film crossed the $1 billion mark earlier this month.
Along with its success is the renewed fame of Jackman, whose last stint as Wolverine was in 2017’s Logan. Now, as the actor savors this once-in-a-lifetime moment, he turns to a party game that everyone knows, but it’s not just an ordinary play. It’s the notorious Cards Against Humanity party game made for horrible people. What’s Jackman got to do with this?
Culture Crave on Twitter shared a photo of the actor holding a box of the said card and along with it are the basic rules of the game. As per usual, players must draw ten white cards each. The catch is that the player who most recently used the bathroom to take a dump becomes the Card Czar and must take the black card.
There is an exception, though; if Jackman is one of the players, he must go first, regardless of how recently he dumped his crap. It is certainly a game he would like to play with his Deadpool costars, and it’s already evident how chaotic it would turn out once they’re sat in the game.
For those who aren’t familiar with Cards Against Humanity, it’s a set of party game cards that contains fill-in-the-blank statements, and most of its contents are deemed offensive, raunchy, and graphic. This is the reason why it is marketed as a game made for horrible people because only the horrible ones would find enjoyment in this notoriously wild play.
Deadpool 3 Continues To Dominate Global Box Office
Even before Deadpool & Wolverine reached a major box office haul milestone, Jackman already celebrated the success of his film. The actor recreated the famous Wolverine meme shared by Marvel Studios where he lies down and looks at a picture frame.
The movie is now in its fifth week in theaters and still churns money as evident in its continuously growing figure. As of this writing, it has made over $1.2 billion in global ticket sales, surpassing 2019’s Joker earnings an as R-rated film.
Deadpool & Wolverine is still showing in theaters worldwide.
