A week before the actor was convicted, Shehorn, who had a restraining order against Pasqual at the time of the attack, testified in court with visible scars on her arm and neck, ABC7 reported.
“I locked the door and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open, and I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there’s another lock on that door,” she said, describing a violent fight the two had, leading up to their break-up.
Pasqual was accused of breaking into the makeup artist’s home in the early hours of May 23, 2024.
A friend found Shehorn lying in a pool of blood, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Pasqual allegedly fled the scene before being detained at a U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said, per the L.A. Times.
Statement issued on victim’s GoFundMe page
On a GoFundMe page for Shehorn, organizer Emily MacDonald commented on the guilty verdict on behalf of the makeup artist, stating, “This verdict does not erase the trauma or the long road of recovery ahead, but it is an important step toward accountability and healing.”

She also expressed her gratitude to Shehorn’s supporters. “From visiting Allie in the hospital, to helping with her recovery, connecting us with resources, donating to the GoFundMe, and showing up in court — I cannot express how much each and every one of you has helped us get to this day,” MacDonald wrote.
A sentencing hearing for Pasqual is scheduled for June 2 in Los Angeles, Entertainment Weekly reported.
He faces a possible maximum sentence of life in state prison.
Aside from his small role in HIMYM, Pasqual’s acting credits include an appearance in Zack Snyder’s 2023 sci-fi movie Rebel Moon, the 2013 Steve Jobs biopic Jobs, and the 2009 post-apocalyptic film The Road, according to his IMDb page.
