Martin Demichelis has revealed that Johan Bakayoko was left out of RB Leipzig’s squad for their 6-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt for disciplinary reasons.

Johan Bakayoko was left out of RB Leipzig’s squad for Saturday’s 6-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt for disciplinary reasons, head coach Martin Demichelis revealed on Monday.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Leipzig’s Champions League clash with PSV, Demichelis didn't want to elaborate on the incident, but confirmed that the matter had been resolved.

“He made a small mistake. But that stays between us,” Demichelis said.

"We’ve spoken to each other, and he trained normally on Sunday. I’ve already forgotten what he did. The matter is settled."

RB Leipzig face Bakayoko's former club PSV on Tuesday night.
