Gypsy Rose Blanchard Pushes Back Against Ken Urker’s Sister’s Claims About His Death
Splash news/MEGA Gypsy has responded after Ken’s sister, Autumn Urker, publicly challenged some of her comments surrounding his passing.
Ken was found dead at his Louisiana home on October 1, which was also his 34th birthday. His cause of death has not been publicly determined as the investigation remains ongoing.
Rather than continue exchanging accusations with Autumn, Gypsy told Us Weekly that she does not want their strained relationship to overshadow Ken.
“At this time, I do not want the focus surrounding Ken’s passing to become centered on negativity or disagreements between Autumn and me,” she said.
Gypsy acknowledged that there had been problems between the two of them before Ken’s passing. She claimed Autumn disapproved of her relationship with Ken and had made public comments about her in the months before his death.
Autumn, meanwhile, accused Gypsy of lying about circumstances surrounding Ken’s passing and criticized remarks she allegedly made about him.
Despite the dispute with Autumn, Gypsy said her relationship with the rest of Ken’s relatives has remained cordial.
“I remain in communication with Ken’s family, and aside from my relationship with Autumn, those communications have been positive and respectful during an incredibly painful time,” she said.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Ken Urker Had Called It Quits Before His Death
Instagram | Gypsy Rose Blanchard Despite Gypsy’s continuing to describe Ken as an important part of her life, the pair had quietly ended their romantic relationship before his death.
A source close to the former couple told Page Six that they officially separated about a month earlier after spending some time trying to resolve their differences.
The breakup did not happen suddenly. According to the insider, Gypsy and Ken had already been living separately for approximately two months.
They initially attempted to work through their problems before eventually deciding that ending the relationship was the better option.
“They both just amicably, a month ago, said, ‘Let’s just leave it here, have our space, and see where we’re at,'” the source explained.
The Former Couple’s Breakup Was Not ‘Nasty’ And Didn’t Affect Their Co-Parenting Relationship
Splash news/MEGA The insider stressed that there was “nothing nasty” behind Gypsy and Ken’s decision to end their romantic relationship, describing the separation as a mutual one.
Their breakup also did not end their connection as parents, as they allegedly continued to maintain contact while raising their daughter, Aurora.
“It was just a mutual agreement. They were co-parenting,” the source claimed about Gypsy and Ken’s post-breakup relationship.
According to Page Six, after their split, the former lovers agreed that Gypsy would have Aurora during weekdays, while Ken would get to spend time with her “every other weekend.”
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Advocates For ‘Kenan Law’ In Honor Of Ken Urker
RCF / MEGADays after Ken’s death, Gypsy turned her attention toward a cause she believes could help others experiencing online bullying.
She urged her followers to support a petition for “Kenan’s Law.” The petition is a proposed measure named after her late ex and intended to change how “social-media platforms handle repeated reports of harassment.”
Gypsy said Ken had endured an “overwhelming amount of online scrutiny” before his passing and claimed they had repeatedly reported content they believed came off as harassment.
She argued that platforms often examine posts individually, which can make it difficult to recognize a larger pattern of behavior directed toward one person.
“This is not about silencing criticism or taking away anyone’s freedom of speech,” Gypsy explained while promoting the petition. “Public figures can and should be criticized, but public figures are still human beings, and fame should never erase someone’s humanity.”
She further said Ken’s passing had left her determined to “turn pain into purpose,” adding, “I cannot change what happened, but I can advocate for a better system for the next person who feels like no one is listening.”
