According to multiple reports, Germany’s new coach Jürgen Klopp is in favor of a Borussia Dortmund move for Said El Mala. Sky Sport’s Patrick Berger reported the former BVB boss spoke with the 19-year-old as he sees him as one of Germany’s important players in the future.

El Mala wasn’t part of Julian Nagelsmann’s World Cup squad as he is currently an U21 international. However, that is expected to be changed with Klopp replacing the former Bundestrainer after the World Cup exit in the first round of the knockout stages.

Meanwhile, Express reported Klopp is even pushing behind the scenes for the transfer of El Mala. The 59-year-old thinks it’s a sensible move for El Mala to join the Black and Yellows this summer.

The transfer saga is set to continue as Sky Sports reported earlier that BVB are plotting to submit their next offer, €50 million after bonuses. BVB’s next attempt is expected early next week after Köln rejected a €37 million plus €8 million bonuses package.

According to multiple reports, Köln want a fixed €50 million transfer fee for their highly-rated winger. El Mala scored 13 goals in his debut Bundesliga season last term.
