Galatasaray issue statement on "unfounded" Jamal Musiala rumors

Galatasaray released a statement regarding the continuing rumors about their interest in signing Jamal Musiala.

Turkish giants Galatasaray ruled out rumors linking them with a potential move for FC Bayern’s Jamal Musiala. According to the club, the rumors are completely unfounded despite reports by multiple media platforms.

“Due to the deliberate circulation of false and misleading reports about our club in recent days, we find it necessary to issue the following statement to inform the public that the “Jamal Musiala is set to transfer to Galatasaray” reports are completely unfounded,” the club communicated in an official statement.

“It is also noteworthy that the individuals and platforms responsible for these speculations were behind similar false claims during the previous season.” added Galatasaray’s claim as they urge fans to rely on official statements.

After a routine surgery in the wake of Germany’s early World Cup elimination, Musiala will hope to feature for FC Bayern in the curtain-raiser game against Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup. İlkay Gündoğan and Leroy Sané are currently plying their trade for the club that won the last four Süper Lig titles.
