It is pretty evident by now that the tyranny of the World Government and the Celestial Dragons in One Piece is too brutal and cruel for the general public. They have been taking advantage of them, abusing them, and even killing them to maintain their authority as the Supreme Power of the One Piece world. However, there are some characters who are fighting against this tyranny.

The first and foremost is the Revolutionary Army, headed by Monkey D. Dragon. As Dragon has seen the evil atrocities of the World Government and the Nobles firsthand, he decided to form an organization that would battle against them. But he might not be the only one who is fed up with the government’s evil deeds.

Another character who has been irritated by the World Government for the longest time is Fujitora, the Admiral who was appointed after Akainu and Kuzan. Although Fujitora works for the Navy, he does not necessarily follow their orders and is strictly against the principles of the World Government. Thus, it can be assumed that Dragon and Fujitora might know each other, and they decided to act against the World Government in their own way.

The Double-Faced World Government in One Piece

As One Piece fans know, the public image of the World Government and their reality are completely different. While they pose as a fair organization that wants to promote a peaceful and equal world, their real motive is to maintain their authority over the world and keep it clean no matter what.

The general public of the One Piece world believes that the World Government is headed by the Five Elders, but it is actually Imu who sits at the Empty Throne and governs the actions all over the world. Thus, they are filled with corruption, secrets, evil principles, and vicious motifs. They believe that they are the Supreme Power and that anyone who stands against their beliefs is their biggest enemy.

Not only that, the World Government has been rigorously trying to hide the history behind their origins (The Void Century) and has gone to the lengths of genocide to make sure that the rest of the people don’t find out who took over the One Piece world in the first place.

Fujitora And Dragon Might Have Some Kind of Connection

When something as terrible as the World Government attempts to create a dictatorship, someone inevitably rises up to oppose them and destroy their control. In the case of One Piece, it is Monkey D. Dragon who is acting from the outside, and Fujitora who is acting from the inside.

While Dragon is working on taking down the World Government and formulating a new form of governance, Fujitora is trying to clean the organization from the inside with major steps like the abolishment of the Warlord System. He is also trying to save the people who have been crushed under the tyranny of the World Government.

Thus, there is a big possibility that both Fujitora and Dragon somehow know each other. Their timeline and their characteristics have a lot in common for Eiichiro Oda to not make a connection between the two.

There is also a chance that Fujitora might be connected to the Revolutionary Army, as not much is known about his past. If this turns out to be true, it could be one of the biggest One Piece revelations ever.
