John Wick’s slick style and deadly precision have made him one of the coolest characters ever, and pretty quickly too. With four movies in nine years, the character has become rather iconic, pretty fast.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like this unstoppable assassin while playing video games, there are definitely several games that can satisfy those cravings. Some of these games let you channel your inner John Wick, allowing you to take down enemies with style, precision, and brutality.

5. Sifu

This game drops you into the shoes of a martial artist on a mission for revenge. The game is all about hand-to-hand combat, and it’s not just about mindlessly punching your way through enemies. You have to be strategic as well.

The game gets harder as you progress, and every time you die, your character ages. This is a pretty interesting mechanic that adds a sense of urgency because, while you get stronger with age, your health decreases. The combat is fast and brutal, much like the close-quarters fights John Wick is known for in his movies.

4. Resident Evil 4 VR

The VR version of this amazing remake takes the classic survival horror game and turns it into an intense, first-person experience. Playing this game in VR makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of a fight for survival, just like John Wick would be.

The controls are responsive, and you can aim and shoot with some great precision. The game’s atmosphere adds to the tension and makes every encounter really feel like a life-or-death situation. The feeling of reloading your gun in the middle of a tense situation adds some nice realism that makes you feel like an elite killer.

3. Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 offers a world where you can become a high-tech assassin in a gritty, neon city. Just imagine John Wick but in a futuristic cyberpunk setting. The game gives you a lot of freedom in how you approach combat. You can go in guns blazing or use swords, katanas, and mantis blades.

The game’s arsenal is vast, with futuristic weapons and cybernetic enhancements that let you pull off some truly epic kills in amazing fashion. The combat feels fast and fluid, and the ability to slow down time with certain abilities makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a movie.

2. Hotline Miami

This top-down action game is all about speed and brutality. The game’s neon-vibe levels and an amazing soundtrack put you in a state of high-octane focus, just like the character when he’s on a mission.

Every level is a puzzle of sorts, where you have to figure out the best way to take down all the enemies as quickly and efficiently as possible.  The game can often be pretty difficult, with one wrong move and you’re dead, but the game encourages you to keep trying until you get it right. John Wick 4 even had a similar top-down action sequence that reminded a lot of players about the game.

1. Max Payne 3

Perhaps the best example on this list, this game might be the closest you can get to feeling like John Wick in a video game. The game’s signature bullet time mechanic lets you slow down time during gunfights, allowing you to pull off incredible shots with pinpoint accuracy.

The combat is brutal, gritty, and realistic, with a focus on cover-based shooting. But it’s the slow-motion gunfights that really make you feel like a professional assassin. You can dive through the air, taking out enemies with plenty of style, much like John Wick does in the movies.
