According to Sport BILD, Eintracht Frankfurt's management is unwilling to accept Markus Krösche's seemingly departure.

The popular tabloid reports that supervisory board chairman Mathias Beck will make a surprise approach to the sporting director.

Beck's aim is to try and extend his contract with the Hessen giants, which currently runs until 2028, for the long term.

The reason for this is that the parties had agreed that Krösche would inform Frankfurt in the spring if he planned to leave the club in summer.

Since this didn't happen, Frankfurt wants to seize the slim opportunity to agree a new contract with Krösche.
