Officers in the Ontario Provincial Police’s East Region issued 10 more impaired driving charges over the last weekend as part of their Festive RIDE program.

The latest arrests brought to 113 the number of impaired drivers caught since the program began on Nov. 21.

“While Festive RIDE may be over, OPP members across East Region will continue to hold RIDE programs and be on the lookout for those who choose to endanger lives by driving while impaired,” said Chief Supt. Lisa Wilhelm, OPP East Region commander.
