Exes Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe reunite at son Deacon’s college graduation

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe reunited for their son Deacon’s graduation from New York University Friday.

In photos obtained by Page Six, the exes were all smiles as they posed for photos with the graduate following a ceremony at Radio City Music Hall.

Witherspoon, 50, stunned in a blue midi dress paired with a white blazer, a cream handbag and heels. Phillippe, 51, wore a white button-down shirt, black trousers and Nike sneakers.

The former couple — who were married from 1999 to 2008 — share Deacon, 22, and their 26-year-old daughter, Ava, who was also in attendance for the big day.

Witherspoon’s other ex-husband, Jim Toth, was seen at the graduation as well, along with their 13-year-old son, Tennessee.

Kate Hudson’s eldest son, Ryder Robinson, also graduated from the prestigious university Friday.

Hudson and fiancé Danny Fujikawa were pictured at the graduation along with their daughter Rani. Hudson’s mom, Goldie Hawn, and her longtime partner, Kurt Russell, were also spotted.

At one point, Russell was seen chatting with and hugging Witherspoon.

The “Legally Blonde” star and the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” actor have continued to amicably co-parent their two kids over the years.

In fact, Phillippe gushed over how “hot” he and Witherspoon were together in a playful Instagram Stories post in 2024.

“We were hot and drenched in late ’90s angst,” he wrote before tagging his ex-wife in a 2001 snap from the “Legally Blonde” premiere. “(such a cooler time than today).”

The exes met at Witherspoon’s 21st birthday party in 1997 and went on to co-star in “Cruel Intentions” two years later.

They have reunited for several milestones, including Deacon’s “homeschool graduation” in 2022.

In April 2023, they celebrated their youngest child’s burgeoning music career, with Phillippe sharing a series of snaps from Deacon’s album release party, which included Witherspoon.

“Awesome night w family & friends celebrating the release of ‘A New Earth’ by @deaconphillippe,” the proud dad wrote at the time.

Both Witherspoon and Phillippe welcomed other children post-divorce with their respective partners.

The Oscar winner wed Toth in 2011 and they welcomed Tennessee during their time together before divorcing in 2023.

As for Phillippe, he shares 14-year-old daughter Kai with ex Alexis Knapp.
