Royal biographer Robert Jobson laid into Prince Harry and Markle for pulling their two kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, from their UK schools. According to The Blast, the pair cited security concerns as one reason for the sudden switch, specifically the heavy traffic from their residence in Britain to their school.

Jobson told The Sun that Prince Harry’s reason for pulling the kids from school isn’t what it seems. “They have dressed the school run up as a security story,” he said. “Harry failed at the High Court, now he is trying to strong-arm Ravec and the Home Office into giving him what he wants.”

Jobson suggested that Prince Harry and Markle “buy themselves an alarm clock” and “join the real world,” adding that “nobody asked him” to return to a location he “deemed was unsafe.”

Jobson wasn’t the only one to criticize Prince Harry and Markle. Dai Davies, an ex-head of royal protection, also chimed in and blasted Prince Harry for displaying what he said was “arrogance.”

According to Davies, Prince Harry and Markle didn’t do their due diligence before deciding to return to the UK for everyday life. “The preparation for coming to this country would appear to be lax,” he said, calling their latest move with their children “nonsense.”

Davies then explained that while Prince Harry is a royal, the “risk” to children, “even to the monarch,” he said, “has been low.”

“Just because Harry’s got the arrogance to waltz back in because they couldn’t make it where they were,” Davies continued.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Markle said their decision to remove their royal children from their schools did not reflect on the school itself. In fact, they said the entire staff had been pleasant to work with and had formed great relationships with the kids.

A source close to the family shared a similar message and also explained how disheartened the family was over the decision. “It’s a real shame, because they absolutely adored the school, the kids and their parents. It was perfect for them in every way, and the children really enjoyed their time there,” they said.
