One Piece chapter 1125

The recent death of Saint Jaygarcia Saturn in One Piece chapter 1125 has unlocked the portals of many mysteries surrounding Imu and his unprecedented powers. However, the biggest mystery that the chapter has solved is the revelation about Imu being the main source of power for the Gorosei, who sit at the top of the World Government.

While the Gorosei’s source of power has now been exposed to the One Piece fans, the question about Imu’s source of power still remains. Imu, being the final antagonist, holds a lot of importance in One Piece, and fans would certainly want to find out how Imu reached his current level of strength and managed to even rule over the Gorosei.

According to a One Piece theory, the source of Imu’s power might be related to the Lunarians and the Lost Chamber, which were first mentioned a few chapters ago. This Lost Chamber holds the source that provides Imu with unlimited strength and abilities that he has been using to rule the One Piece world for so long.

Imu is the Source of Gorosei’s Powers

Ever since One Piece started, it has been made clear that the Five Elders hold the most amount of authority and power in Eiichiro Oda’s world. They have been manipulating things according to their own profits and don’t care much for the general public, and sometimes even the Celestial Dragons.

However, their power is not limited to the political influence that they have gained over the years. They also possess dangerous abilities that allow them to transform into terrifying Yokais, gain immortality, use telepathy, kill on a whim, etc. Fans have long speculated that Imu is the source of this power, and One Piece chapter 1125 confirmed it.

When Saturn failed in his mission on Egghead Island, Imu was seen unleashing his wrath on the Elder as he burns because of the black flames and ultimately dies. This confirms that Imu was the one who granted him his powers, and when he couldn’t live up to his expectations, he lost those powers.

One Piece Theory Reveals Imu’s Source of Power

According to a theory posted by @3SkullJoe on X, Imu gains these dangerous powers from the Lost Chamber that Sabo heard about during the Wano arc. The theory states that the Lost Chamber was built by the Lunarians, and it is the same Chamber of Flowers where Imu is mostly seen. This chamber evidently provides Imu with the power he needs.

These chambers might also hide the secret entrance to the icy vaults where Imu has kept the giant Straw Hat. According to the theory, this vault has some kind of device that has access to all the alleged Devil Fruit powers of the Gorosei and their life force and potentially others, and the one that controls it is none other than Imu.

That is why Imu can create or corrupt a Devil Fruit according to his needs and use it to grant unlimited powers to the Gorosei. Plus, it could be the crucial treasure about which Doflamingo talked about during Dressrosa. If the theory holds any ground, this could potentially bring a big change to the One Piece narrative.
