Diddy's life went downhill after his former partner, Cassie Ventura, filed a sexual assault and abuse lawsuit against him. More alleged victims came out, accusing him of similar crimes, leading to a highly publicized federal case.

According to sources, Diddy's resumption at FCI Fort Dix began with new responsibilities. They revealed that those in charge of inmates in the federal prison had placed the rapper in the laundry room to wash and dry dirty clothes.

Getting assigned manual labor must have reportedly come as a shock to Diddy, but federal prosecutors might celebrate his new responsibilities. During his criminal trial, prosecutors argued that Diddy was incapable of performing the smallest task independently.

They claimed he couldn't charge his phone or even grab a bottle of water without sending numerous assistants to carry out every little task. However, TMZ reported that FCI Fort Dix was a better option compared to Diddy's first prison, as it is a low-security facility with reasonable accommodations.

FCI Fort Dix officially became Diddy's new home on Thursday, October 30. The Blast shared that he was transferred to the prison facility in the morning, marking the end of his months-long stay at MDC Brooklyn.

Diddy had been locked up at MDC Brooklyn since his September 2024 arrest, but the time served there would be counted as part of his 50-month prison sentence. He was initially dragged to court for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

However, the jury acquitted him of the more serious charges but found him guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Judge Arun Subramanian handed down his 50-month prison sentence on October 3, along with a $500,000 fine.

Following his sentencing, Diddy's legal reps immediately filed a request for him to serve his sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. They stressed that the low security facility was perfect for him to "address drug abuse issues," "maximize family visitation," and his "rehabilitative efforts."

Additionally, Diddy's attorneys argued that he wasn't safe at MDC Brooklyn. They alleged that an inmate had attempted to shank him, with Charlucci Finney echoing similar sentiments. The rapper's pal claimed he was threatened with a makeshift blade.

"He woke up with a knife to his throat. I don't know whether he fought him off or the guards came, I just know that it happened," Finney alleged. He believed the incident was more of a warning than an actual threat to Diddy's life, noting the inmate could have killed his friend at any moment.

The Music Mogul's Attorney Believes He May Regain His Freedom Sooner Than 2028

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) predicted that Diddy might regain his freedom in May 2028. The Blast reported that their claims did not sit right with the convict's attorney, Marc Agnifilo.

The legal rep expressed hope for Diddy's release before the BOP's predicted date, noting he could regain his freedom in less than three years. Agnifilo believed the rapper could shorten his sentence with good behavior.

Although Agnifilo and his team failed to secure a shorter sentence for Diddy, the attorney admitted that he was pleased with the 50-month sentence. He explained that it was better to have a few years in prison rather than the life sentence prosecutors wanted.

Diddy Must Fulfill Certain Conditions After His Release

Whether Diddy regains his freedom before 2028 or not, he must complete the stipulated conditions tied to his release. The Blast covered the terms of his release, noting that the requirements were linked to Diddy's rehabilitation.

The disgraced entertainer must participate in an outpatient treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues. Any drugs prescribed during this treatment must continue to be taken unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.

Diddy must also complete a domestic violence intervention program, submit to searches when requested, and avoid all contact with his victims. Additionally, he was banned from owning or having access to firearms and other dangerous weapons.
