Dates and times have been set in stone for the opening round of Germany's premier domestic cup competition for 2026-27

The Deutscher Fußball-Bund (German Football Association) has officially confirmed the dates and times of all 32 games to take place in the first round of the DFB Pokal for the 2026-27 season.

Of the fixtures, 30 will be played between Friday 21 and Monday 24 August, 2026. The remaining two fixtures involving Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will take place on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 September, 2026.

The reason being is that the reigning DFB Pokal and Bundesliga champions Bayern and runners up Dortmund must contest the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup at 20:30 CET on 22 August 2026.
