‘Dancing With the Stars’ eliminates another couple during ‘Viral Hits Night’

“Dancing With the Stars” is continuing to whittle down the competition.

Celebrity chef and host Giada De Laurentiis and her pro partner, Alan Bersten, were eliminated at the end of the “Viral Hits Night” episode Tuesday night.

This week’s episode saw the Season 35 cast perform routines “inspired by some of the biggest viral hits and unforgettable moments that have taken the internet by storm,” per an ABC press release.

Prior to the elimination, co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro revealed the other two couples in danger of going home: “Bachelor Nation” star Tyler Cameron (and partner Sharna Burgess) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” star Guillermo Rodriguez (and partner Witney Carson).

During Tuesday night’s episode, De Laurentiis landed at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 12/30 for their Salsa to Becky G’s “Bella Ciao.”

Three celebrities and their pros found themselves atop the scoreboard by scoring 21/30.

Those competitors included “Step Up” actress Jenna Dewan and partner Val Chmerkovskiy (who performed a Jive to KATSEYE’s “Animal”), Paralympian gold medalist Ezra French and partner Daniella Karagach (who performed a Cha Cha to Flo Rida’s “Low”) and Olympian gold medal-winning figure skater Amber Glenn and partner Pasha Pashkov (who performed a Tango to “All the Things She Said” by Harrison).

Following closely behind was “Traitors” alum Maura Higgins and her partner, Mark Ballas, who scored a 19/30 for their Cha Cha to Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September.”

Four pairs also tied with a respectable score of 18/30, including “Summer House” star Ciara Miller and partner Brandon Armstrong (who performed a Tango to “No Broke Boys” by Disco Lines & Tinashe) as well as Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson and partner Emma Slater (who performed a Foxtrot to “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams).

Also scoring 18/30 were “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Tatyana Ali and partner Jan Ravnik (who performed a Foxtrot to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”) and “Glee” alum Harry Shum Jr. and partner Jenna Johnson (who performed a Viennese Waltz to “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls).

Cameron and Burgess earned a 16/30 for their Salsa to “Girls” by The Kid LAROI, matching the score of “Save the Last Dance” actress Julia Stiles and pro partner Ezra Sosa’s Tango to “The Door.”

Comedian Connor Wood and pro partner Rylee Arnold’s Tango to “12 to 12” by sombr earned them a 15/30, while singer Taylor Hanson and pro partner Britt Stewart’s Cha Cha to DNCE’s “Cake By the Ocean” scored them a 15/30.

Landing at the bottom alongside De Laurentiis was Rodriguez and Carson’s Paso Doble to Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been,” which also scored them a 12/30.

Last week’s two-night premiere saw “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Conner Leavitt and “Love Thy Nader” star Sarah Jane Nader sent packing in back-to-back eliminations.

On the flip side, Shum Jr. and Higgins topped the leaderboard in their respective nights — with the male celebrities performing in the first night of competition and the female celebrities hitting the ballroom during the second night.

New episodes of “DWTS” will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, and will stream on Hulu the following day.
