An OPP news release said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene on Highway 17 following the crash that happened just before 10:30 a.m.

The Renfrew detachment of the OPP was investigating the collision, the release said. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam video from the area at the time was asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
