Candice Miller sued for $195K in unpaid rent on NYC condo 2 months after husband Brandon’s suicide

Hamptons socialite Candice Miller, whose husband Brandon Miller died by suicide in July, is being sued for nearly $200,000 in unpaid rent for her New York City condo, Page Six can confirm.

Court documents filed on Sept. 12 alleged the former “Mama + Tata” lifestyle blogger owes $194,881.89 for a swanky 4,382-square foot, five-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bathroom Park Avenue apartment.

She allegedly failed to pay her $47,000 rent in April and May, respectively, then also skipped two additional $49,000 payments in June and July for the Upper East side abode.

She’s also being billed $2,000 for a balance she accrued in August, and an $881.89 plumbing invoice.

Per the court docs, Candice, 42, “agreed to surrender” the property by Aug. 31 and she followed through on that. However, she allegedly did not take care of her debt before doing so.

Instead, the former mommy blogger skipped town to move to Miami to start a new life down south.

“She’s over in New York,” an insider exclusively told Page Six in July. “She’s moving to Miami before school starts and has enrolled her kids in a Miami school.”

Page Six also exclusively reported later that month that Candice’s move was made possible with the help of her wealthy friends — given that she was still dealing with her late husband’s outstanding money woes.

Brandon, who was found “unconscious” at his Hamptons, NY, home in July, had allegedly gotten into a slew of bad business deals-gone-wrong and owed around $34 million when he died. He was 43.

The real estate businessman reportedly left his wife and two kids with only $8,000 in the bank.

“Candice was blindsided by Brandon’s death, but she has some very supportive friends and family who have all stood by her and are helping her financially and in any other ways they can,” a pal told us.

Two friends who stepped up to help were Alexander von Fürstenberg, the son of designer Diane von Fürstenberg and Prince Egon von Fürstenberg, and his wife, Alison von Fürstenberg.

According to the Real Deal, the couple allowed Candice to move into their $10 million South Beach condo.

In the meantime, the mom of two is also trying to sell her $15 million Hamptons home.

Page Six has reached out to Candice’s attorney for comment but did not immediately hear back.
