Canadian hair-care brand Oligo Professionnel has been creating salon-quality products for nearly four decades.

Founded in Montreal, the family led brand recently tapped into its continuing research and innovation in behind-the-chair professional hair expertise to launch a line specifically formulate for blond and highlighted hair called Blacklight Blonde Science.

“This expertise has given us an intimate understanding of blond hair’s three core needs: hydration, structural repair and tone preservation,” says Ilan Cohen, president of Oligo Professionnel.

Q: For those who aren’t familiar, what is Blacklight Blonde Science?

A:Blacklight Blonde Science is the latest innovation from Oligo Professionnel and more than a hair-care line, it is a complete care philosophy created exclusively for blond hair in all its variations.

Developed for bleached, lightened, highlighted and technique-driven blonds — from ombré and sombré to balayage and modern dimensional colour work — the line addresses the highly specific needs of hair that has been lifted, lightened or enhanced with blond tones.
