Burnley's Estève expected in Leipzig for medical this week

The French centre-half is expected to undergo his medical in the coming days at the Saxony-based club.

With his transfer to the Bundesliga nearing completion, Maxime Estève is expected in Leipzig for a medical later this week.

Should the central defender pass said medical examination, the deal with Burnley FC will then be wrapped up and confirmed.

Sky Germany understands that RB Leipzig will reach into their coffers and pay €25million plus bonuses with a sell-on clause included.

No medical is scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday 14 July, as things stand, but it is expected take place at some point later this week.

If everything goes according to plan, the deal will be finalized in the coming days – Estève is fully on board with Leipzig's ambitions.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed the deal for Estève who made 34 Premier League appearances last season.
