The 14-time winner on the LPGA and two-time major champion is engaged to professional baseball player Ricky Castro.

The couple announced the news together on Instagram on Sunday night.
“The beginning of forever,” the message began.
“We are beyond excited and blessed to announce our engagement with one another! God is so good for giving us each other!”
The date at the top of the message suggests the Henderson, 28, said ‘yes’ on July 14. Two days earlier, the golf star thrilled fans by making three eagles — including a hole in one — during the final round of the Evian Championship, the second to last major on the women’s golf calendar.
Henderson’s incredible final eagle of the day vaulted her into a tie for the lead on the 72nd hole before losing in a playoff to Haeran Ryu.
Castro, 26, is a AAA pitcher in the Minnesota Twins organization. The couple has been dating since March 2025.

Henderson spoke to Golfweek about the relationship last summer.
“I feel like this life out here is pretty difficult because you travel so much,” Henderson told Golfweek.
Henderson also said that sharing the busy travel schedule of athletes means they understand each other’s schedules as well as the time each has to dedicate to their craft.
“He’s travelling a lot, I’m travelling a lot, so he really understands the lifestyle and all that it takes to perform at your best. So he’s very understanding that way, which I think is really key in a relationship out here.”
Henderson will be gunning for a third major win at the Women’s British Open at the end of the month at Royal Lytham & St. Annes.
