Kyliane Dong will play for Bolton Wanderers in the 2026-27 season, FC Augsburg officially confirmed earlier this afternoon.

The English Championship club have agreed to a one-year loan deal with an option to buy, but have kept the exact details confidential.

Dong, who joined Augsburg on a free transfer in 2025, already played on loan for Pau FC in Ligue 2 last season to gain experience.

The 21-year-old attacking player made 31 appearances in all competitions for the French outfit and scored six goals.

Meanwhile, another FC Augsburg youngster in Felix Meiser is expected to depart, according to sources at Sky Germany.

Augsburg have secured a buy-back clause from Fortuna Düsseldorf for the 19-year-old centre-back – the announcement is expected soon.
