“Big Brother 28” star Haley Thogmartin admitted “it wasn’t fun” when Angela Murray exploded on her earlier this season.

“I knew in that situation that I was getting lied to,” Thogmartin, 29, exclusively told Page Six. “I hated how upset she got in the moment before the whole blowup happened.”

Thogmartin and Murray, 53, started the game as close allies, but during week four, Murray double-crossed the telemedicine executive by blindsiding Lyric Medeiros during Thogmartin’s HOH reign.

Murray lied about her vote for several days before she came clean to Thogmartin, which led to their explosive fight.

“I did try to say, like, ‘Can we talk outside real quick?'” Thogmartin told Page Six while reflecting on the dispute. “And then that didn’t happen.”

She continued, “But truly I was just really upset that she was upset, because I was really, really close to her. And I just kind of felt all the sadness with it.”

As for how she and Murray were able to make amends before her elimination, Thogmartin compared their relationship to being “family” and that “fights happen.”

“She was somebody that I was not willing to let go of,” Thogmartin said about the “Big Brother 26” alum. “And I think vice versa. We’re actually like really, really close. And I spent a lot of time with her.”

Thogmartin noted the pair “talked a lot on a personal level,” and for that reason she considers Murray “definitely somebody that I see being in my life long term after.”

Still, Thogmartin admitted she was hurt that Murray and Dee Valladares betrayed their “Tool Shed” alliance by voting out Medeiros, 25, and then lying about it.

“In the moment, knowing that this is a game, I knew that there was bound to have some type of situation where a lie occurred or something, but I was so willing to wash it and just move forward because I thought what we had was so strong,” Thogmartin said while reflecting on the blindside.

She added, “I was pretty bummed to see that. But again, I was still trying to be a ride or die with them still.”

Thogmartin expressed hope that she can also make amends with LaTrice Verrett and Taylor Brown after their conflict in the house.

“I hope that we can talk after this,” she said. “I think they’re both incredible people. They both bring so much to the table. And honestly, I would love to be a part of their life after this.”

“Big Brother 28” airs every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and is available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
