Marvel Rivals has been getting a lot of attention lately and for all the good reasons. The game has a lot of characters belonging to the Marvel Universe to choose from.
However, there are a few characters that are just too annoying to play against due to their overpowered nature and players’ ability to channel their inner superheroes through them. Here are 3 such characters that are considered to be extremely overpowered with the ability to make your gameplay a complete nightmare.
3 Psylocke
Psylocke is packed with a lot of powerful abilities. Her primary fire is called Psionic Crossbow, which restores cooldown upon each successful hit, and her secondary fire is called the Wing Shuriken, which sends out several shurikens that get attached to the enemy and can be called back again, dealing more damage and restoring her health upon each successful hit.
Then comes her Psi Blade Dash, which enables her to leap forward, dealing damage to anyone who comes in her way. One can also use this ability to dash upward and get a higher ground.
Then comes her stealth ability, which makes her completely invisible to enemies and increases her movement speed. Her ultimate is called Dance of the Butterfly, and it enables her to dash across enemies within a defined space to cause massive damage to multiple enemies in quick succession.
She is packed with a lot of frontline-focused abilities that enable players to always be vigilant on the battlefield and inflict tons of damage on the enemies, which makes her quite difficult to play against. These attributes have enabled her to stand amongst the top 3.
2 Spider-Man
Spider-Man’s agility on the battlefield is what makes him the most difficult to play against. He can climb on walls and use his Spidey Sense to good use to detect enemies. On top of that, he can also swing across the entire map in quick succession.
However he is more of a melee character, which is why it has a 5-star difficulty. However, once players get a hang of his abilities, he is quite unstoppable. There are a lot of combos he can perform on enemies, dealing more damage if the enemy is sticky.
He can move fast across the battlefield and space choke points with much ease. His ultimate ability turns him into a web-throwing machine; he throws sticky charges around a circle, inflicting stun damage on all those around him. These are some of the biggest reasons why he is considered to be one of the most difficult characters to master as well as play against.
1 Iron Fist
Iron Fist players are extremely difficult to kill. His passive allows him to run along walls and regain health upon killing an enemy, which makes it extremely difficult to catch him on low health.
Iron Fist features a combo-intensive gameplay that allows players to come up with creative ways to engage enemies. On top of that, he can quadruple jump and take the highest ground.
Not just that, he can also regain health while meditating, which not only refills his health bar but also blesses him with an extra burst of health. His ultimate increases movement speed and damage of all of his attacks and reduces his blocking ability’s timeline to just 3 seconds.
He is an extremely powerful character, largely due to his ability to regain his health while blocking or killing an enemy or while meditating. It is highly unlikely you will ever find Iron Fist low on health. None of the OG Avengers managed to make the list.
These are the biggest reasons why these characters are some of the most difficult to play against in Marvel Rivals, and new players will have a hard time adjusting to their abilities. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below.
