Bayern identify Stuttgart & Germany talent as long-term centre-back target

Bayern Munich are already planning for the future in defence. According to reports, Stuttgart centre-back Finn Jeltsch is among the players the German champions are closely monitoring for the coming transfer windows.

Bayern Munich have Stuttgart defender Finn Jeltsch on their radar as they continue planning for the future, according to multiple reports.

The 20-year-old centre-back is said to be one of the players Bayern are monitoring for the coming transfer windows, although no immediate move is expected.

The Bundesliga champions currently believe they are well stocked in central defence and are not actively looking to strengthen the position this summer.

However, should a vacancy arise in the coming transfer windows, Jeltsch is reportedly viewed as a leading candidate to reinforce Bayern's back line.

The highly-rated defender has impressed with his performances for Stuttgart and is regarded as one of Germany's most promising young centre-backs, making him an attractive long-term option for the Bavarians.

He also played together with Bayern's new leftback Nathaniel Brown back at Nürnberg, where both players broke through the ranks.
