Italian transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano recently reported that West Ham are monitoring Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu.

Speaking to Sky Germany, the 22-year-old says he has taken note of the rumors, but is trying to concentrate fully on performing for Freiburg.

"I've heard about it, but I'm putting it aside. We're having a great season so far. We have another important game in Leverkusen on Saturday. That's my focus," Atubolu said.

Atubolu has represented Germany at youth level, but has yet to be called up to the senior side.

Asked about his chances of making the Germany squad for the 2026 World Cup, he replied:

“I'm not thinking about that at the moment. Really. It's a dream to play for Germany. But it's in the back of my mind. First of all, it's work, work, work. In the end, everything depends on your own performance.”
