Arsenal and Tottenham "step up interest" in Bayer Leverkusen prodigy

According to a report from England, Arsenal and Tottenham have accelerated their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen’s Ibrahim Maza.

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Ibrahim Maza has reportedly attracted interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.

According to TEAMtalk, the two London rivals have “stepped up their interest” in the 20-year-old midfielder.

Both clubs are understood to have scouted Maza this season as they “assess his development and potential availability.”

Chelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa are also mentioned as clubs monitoring the youngster.

Signed from Hertha for €12 million in the summer of 2025, Maza has since scored six goals and provided nine assists in 49 appearances for Leverkusen.

The attacking midfielder has made an encouraging start to the season, registering one goal and two assists in five appearances.
