He’s the princess of the Golden Globes.
Jeremy Strong always stands out on the red carpet, whether he’s wearing “Succession” character Kendall Roy’s actual suit or in one of his many head-to-toe brown outfits.
But the actor, 46, wore one of his boldest looks ever at the 2025 Golden Globes, turning up in a turquoise plush velvet suit by Loro Piana over a white turtleneck and paired with a matching bucket hat and sunglasses.
While the luxury Italian brand called the look, “a refined showcase of Loro Piana’s timeless elegance” in a press release, the high-fashion take on streetwear instantly went viral on social media.
And Strong’s “Armageddon Time” co-star Anne Hathaway even joked in on the fun, poking fun at memes that compared his look to her character Mia Thermopolis from “The Princess Diaries.”
In a memorable stretch of the film, after Mia finds out that she is the Princess of Genovia and gets a makeover, she returns to school wearing her uniform and covering her newly tamed hair with a bucket hat.
Hathaway posted a side-by-side photo on her Instagram, poking fun and congratulating Strong on his Globes nomination.
“Sweetheart, I’m not mad you borrowed it but I didn’t totally realize you were going to change the col… anyway, not important,” she wrote.
“congrats on your well deserved nom for The Apprentice!!! 💚,” she added.
Fans were loving the comparison, with one person writing, “the princess of genovia acknowledging the eldest boys fresh blowout is exactly the energy needed to kick off 2025.”
“Princess Diaries 3 cameo needed, we are begging!!!!!!!,” another begged.
While Hathaway was absent from the Golden Globes, the much-anticipated third installment is set to begin filming this summer.
Perhaps Strong will get the call?
