Angela Simmons is making St. Lucia Carnival a signature part of her summer. After turning heads at the celebration last year, the entrepreneur and daughter of hip-hop icon Rev Run returned in 2026 with another jaw-dropping costume.

On July 20, Simmons shared a 12-slide Instagram carousel, showing her look, with the Gros Piton volcanic peak looming majestically in the background.

Simmons’ costume was a barely-there gemstone-covered bikini-style top adorned with turquoise, teal, gold, and orange embellishments, paired with minimal bottoms connected by dangling body chains and bejeweled straps that left her curvy figure almost entirely on display.

Massive translucent wing panels in neon chartreuse green with teal trim fanned out dramatically on both sides, trailing yellow feathers that caught the island breeze.

An elaborate jeweled crown headpiece with butterfly motifs and feather accents sat atop her voluminous curly dark hair, while matching jeweled leg pieces with lace-up strapping climbed from ankle to thigh, with clear platform heels completing the look.

Before stepping onto the road, Simmons shared a fun behind-the-scenes moment from her trip. In the video, she took a lesson in how to “whine” from a hospitality and travel insider friend, giving it her full effort.

Dressed in a coordinated blue two-piece with waist beads and a matching headband, Simmons smiled through the lessons as her instructor corrected her technique at different points.

For the 2025 Lucian Carnival, Simmons arrived in a peacock-inspired ensemble complete with dramatic feathered wings and intricate jeweled detailing.

The carnival content was not the only thing Simmons had been building toward this summer. Back in June, she dropped a teaser on Instagram with “coming soon” in the caption, and the reveal turned out to be a fresh collaboration.

In a later post, she announced the partnership between her brand Angela’s Cakes and Doich Foods, introducing a cinnamon brunch snacking dough she described as “a new way to snack.”

Fans reacted to each post about the new product, though they showed far more enthusiasm for her provocative looks and poses than for the product itself.
