Amal Clooney beat the heat in a slinky summer dress.
The lawyer was spotted on a date night with husband George Clooney in Lake Como last week, heading to an event at Villa Passalacqua with friends.
They appeared to coordinate their looks, with Amal wearing a long silk slip dress in a bright white. She carried a small bouquet, which was given when she disembarked, lending the look a decidedly bridal accent.
Amal wore her hair down in a voluminous blow out and added chandelier earrings and chunky bangle bracelets, skipping a necklace.
George, meanwhile, had a similarly fresh color palette, opting for a monochromatic pale gray outfit that included a chic knit T-shirt, matching trousers and loafers. He also wore a pair of aviator sunglasses.
The Clooneys, long famous for their love of Lake Como, have been out and about in style this summer in the Italian enclave.
Earlier this month they were seen at the same hotspot, with twin children Alexander and Ella in tow, too. At the charity event, Amal wore a black vintage John Galliano gown featuring embroidered flowers and a chartreuse bow from the designer’s fall/winter 2004 collection.
Last month, she went bold in a fringed and patchwork suede vintage Thierry Mugler set and, earlier this summer, she wore yet another archival look, this time a gilded gold gown 2007 Alexander McQueen gown that was previously worn by Cameron Diaz.
And her contemporary looks have been just as head-turning, too. In May, she went with a two-piece Pucci number covered in red, orange and black paillettes to celebrate George’s 65th birthday.
With fall coming quickly, we’ll be sad to see Amal’s summer wardrobe packed away.
