All PS Plus Monthly Free Games for August 2026

PlayStation has had a turbulent few weeks following its controversial decision to phase out physical game discs, but the monthly PS Plus lineup continues as usual with another three games for subscribers to claim.

This month’s lineup includes Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis, along with an exclusive PlayStation Plus Pack for the upcoming fighting game MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. All four rewards are available to PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium members at no additional cost.

In other words, whether you’re after a laidback co-op adventure with friends, survival horror, or an open-world zombie game, August’s lineup has something for everyone. Here’s everything you need to know about the PS Plus monthly free games for August 2026.

1 Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition (2022)

If you’re after a game that’ll keep you busy for dozens of hours, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is an easy recommendation. You play as Aiden Caldwell, a wanderer searching for answers in a city torn apart by rival factions and the infected. Your choices also shape how parts of the story unfold.

The real star, though, is the movement. Sprinting across rooftops, chaining parkour moves together, and fighting your way through the city never gets old. Better yet, you can tackle the entire adventure with up to three friends in online co-op, making this game a particularly strong addition to your PlayStation library if your squad is yet to experience it.

2 Big Walk (2026)

One of August’s biggest surprises is Big Walk, a brand-new co-op adventure launching straight into PS Plus on day one. Instead of fighting enemies, you’ll spend your time exploring a colorful open world, solving puzzles, and finding creative ways to communicate with your friends via the in-game proximity voice chat.

The game also encourages you to slow down once in a while. Whether you’re watching the sunset together or messing around with the many toys and gadgets scattered around the world, Big Walk is the kind of game that’s just as much about hanging out as it is about reaching the next objective.

3 Signalis (2022)

Rounding out this month’s lineup is Signalis, a psychological survival horror game inspired by genre classics. You play as Elster, a Replika technician searching for her missing partner while exploring a strange retro-futuristic world filled with unsettling creatures and long-buried secrets.

Don’t let the pixel art fool you. Signalis builds tension through smart resource management, clever puzzles, and an atmosphere that stays with you long after you’ve put the controller down. If survival horror is your thing, this is easily one of August’s biggest highlights.

4 Bonus: MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack

Starting August 6, PlayStation Plus members can also claim a free MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls Pack. It includes five PSN avatars featuring Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider, along with 20 in-game Result Screen Character Poses for the PS5 version of the game.

The pack remains available until August 6, 2027, so there’s no rush to redeem it. If you’re planning to jump into MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls at launch, it’s a nice little bonus to pick up alongside this month’s games.
