Agents offer Leon Goretzka to FC Barcelona for second time

The out-of-contract Bayern Munich midfielder has been offered to the reigning La Liga champions for a second occasion this summer.

As Matteo Moretto reports in the podcast 'La Pizarra de Quintana', Leon Goretzka has again been offered to FC Barcelona by his agents.

Barça could be interested in signing the German midfielder as Frenkie de Jong recently suffered a torn medial collateral ligament.

Goretzka's side are hoping to take advantage of that injury blow, but sporting director Deco, however, is said to have blocked the move.

Not for the first time either. Goretzka has been actively linked with Barcelona several times in recent weeks, but so far without success.

At the Catalan club, Goretzka could meet his former coach Hansi Flick, whom he already contacted in December of last year.

One problem could be his high demands, with Goretzka demanding €7million per annum, as well as a signing bonus of around €10million.

The 31-year-old has also been heavily linked to clubs in Italy's Serie A, as well as Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire.
