AC Milan close in on Goretzka signing

According to a report from Italy, AC Milan are expected to sign Leon Goretzka on a free transfer from Bayern Munich.

AC Milan have emerged as the clear favourites to sign Leon Goretzka, whose contract with Bayern Munich expires this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants are expecting to reach an agreement with the 31-year-old midfielder.

Talks between Milan and the player’s camp are said to have intensified recently, with Goretzka having signalled his willingness to make the move. 

A final decision is expected after the season, but before Goretzka joins up with Germany for the World Cup.

Goretzka could sign a three-year contract with Milan, worth an annual salary of €5 million.
