Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is all set to feature over 180 playable characters that might just be the biggest roster any Dragon Ball game has featured! Additionally, with the success of the Budokai Tenkaichi games in the past, the game promises to surpass the boundaries set by the earlier games.

This includes the graphics, gameplay, single-player gameplay, and new features that will be exclusive to the upcoming game. During an exclusive interview with IGN, Jun Furutani shed light on how the game would branch out and could potentially “skew very in a completely different direction” from the canonical route featured in the anime and manga series.

This idea would lead to the what-if scenarios, which makes the interviewer curious, making them ask if it’ll feature “any new fusions born in this game?” The producer replied,

Very cool question, hard question to answer. We want leave the ifs a little hidden for until the game is out. We’ll leave it at that for now.

This left the community on their tiptoes because, for aeons, all they had been asking Akira Toriyama, the creator of the Shonen series, was a storyline that featured the epic Potara fusion that featured Goku and his son, Gohan.
